COMPANY STATEMENT
Our goal at QSSi is to provide effective solutions to suit the client's requirements, be it a small or large organization. RESIDENTIAL
From Single Family Homes, to Duplexes, Quadruplexes, Apartment Buildings and multiple housing sites, QSSi has experienced every element of house-building, and we can provide anything from contractual and planning applications to cost planning support, to mortgage monitoring (for lenders) or legal support with expert opinion reporting on the cost of completing unfinished properties or entire housing sites or building plots.
COMMERCIAL
Whether in relation to initial budgeting, mortgage monitoring, life cycle costing, contract formation, value engineering, tenant improvements or dispute resolution, QSSi are experienced in all forms of commercial, residential and mixed use construction.
INSTITUTIONAL -Schools
Truly getting to understand the needs of the client is a prerequisite for many types of institutional projects, but none more so than schools, where an eye for detail, and a consistent approach is required to ensure that the needs of all of the stakeholders must be met, from school board members, to teachers, to the students themselves.
In addition to new-build construction, our PQS staff have extensive school renovation experience; and fully appreciate the extensive health and safety requirements that must first be met, when working in a live school environment.
INSTITUTIONAL -Hospitals
With experience of hospital construction and renovation budgeting both in the UK and Canada, our PQS consultants are highly experienced in advising on hospital and other institutional project costs.
INDUSTRIAL
Manufacturing, heavy industry or assembly line. QSSi's highly trained staff can measure, cost, provide value-engineering (cost saving and optimisation) ideas or simply manage the reporting requirements of a lender and owner on a wide range of industrial projects.
LEGAL - Expert Opinion Reports
With decades of experience to draw upon, QSSi can easily assess both contracts; and the status of construction on site, provide detailed and accurate opinions of the Value of Work in Place or the Cost to Complete, form schedules of costs or payments; while also calculating the costs of defect remediation and the impact of consequential losses.
INSURANCE -Appraisals / Dispute Resolution
With direct experience of fire remediation, flood remediation, hail damage and other investigative insurance claims; QSSi staff are highly experienced and our company is ready to scale our procedural approach and professional reporting to meet the requirements of catastrophe events.
We regularly provide insurance dispute resolution services, such as expert reporting and acting as a representantive or as the Umpire in insurance disputes.
